The Neighborhood Cafe & Print Shop

Our Story

The Neighborhood Cafe and Youth Print Shop, part of UPAC’s Neighborhood Enterprise Center, was created in 2018 to provide high quality food, drinks, and baked items to the City Heights community at a reasonable price. In addition to espresso drinks, teas, sandwiches, and pastries, we offer a global menu that highlights and embraces the diverse cultures of our neighborhood. Each month, we feature a new specialty cultural dish, offered for only $5!

The mission of the Neighborhood Cafe and Youth Print Shop is to mentor and train local youth in the areas of culinary, design, print, and business for job placement. The Neighborhood Cafe hires youth directly from UPAC programs. Your support of The Neighborhood Cafe will help maintain youth employment and create new opportunities.

YBE Print Shop

Part of our Neighborhood Enterprise Center is a full scale Print Shop, run by the youth in our programs. Items available include custom t-shirts, mugs, buttons, banner and window lettering. NEW–Customized masks are now available for purchase.
