Mentorship Pan Asian High Risk Youth Mentorship
The program offers culturally competent mentorship opportunities for Southeast Asian and Filipino youths, ages 6-19, designed to increase self-esteem and reduce gang involvement, relationship violence, suicide, academic failure, unintended pregnancy, and substance abuse. Participants complete a 10-week life skills training program and are paired with adult mentors. - Language Capabilities:

The program provides after-school activities for middle and high school age youth during the hours of 2 PM - 6 PM, when youth are at the highest risk of becoming a victim or perpetrator of a crime. Activities include: homework assistance, life skills training, arts and crafts, sports, mentorship and fieldtrips. Youth also receive basic entrepreneurial training and hands-on experience in developing, running and marketing a student store. - Language Capabilities:

This school-based program provides free academic tutoring, and before and after school activities for Mason Elementary School students in Mira Mesa. Life skills development including alcohol and drug prevention, conflict resolution training, and basic first aid are provided. Other activities include sports, arts, academic games, and cultural activities geared towards positive holistic development. - HOURS:
- 6:00 AM to the first bell at the beginning of school, and re-opens at school dismissal through 6:00 PM

The program promotes parent involvement in education to enhance student success and academic achievement through outreach and training. Home-School Partnership / Families and Schools Together (FAST)
This school-based program provides parent training and family support for at risk children and their families. Program goals are to 1) strengthen the parent child relationship, 2) empower parents to become the primary prevention agents for their children, 3) improve child behavior and performance, and 4) increase child's and family's feelings of affiliation toward their school.
