UPAC Adult Mental Health Video

We provide innovative approaches to prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery for those who are dealing with mental health disorders to help build healthier individuals, stronger families and safer communities.  Counseling and Psychiatric services, primarily for Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander adults who are 18 years of age and older are available for individuals who struggle with mental health challenges including:

  • Reducing Depression  
  • Addressing social isolation  
  • Increasing English proficiency
  • Addressing language and cultural barriers
  • Unemployment and underemployment
  • Lack of access to and utilization of healthcare and other  community resources
  • Post-Traumatic Stress experiences such as war, domestic and community violence
  •  Inter-generational conflicts from differences in language,  values, beliefs and practices
  •  Alcohol, drug and gambling addiction
